The BOUTIQUE
Along with the clothes given out each month, we have had many requests for completed, "dressy" outfits. Because these requests arrived so often each month, we have created what we call 'The Boutique'. Volunteers put together ensembles for women to wear to church or for job interviews, adding jewelry (also made by our volunteers) to complete the look. These outfits are such a popular part of the clothing serving station, that we have expanded our boutique to include a 'Kids' Boutique' as well as a 'Men's Boutique', which is aptly named
'The Mantique'. To be able to hand out a nice outfit, and see the looks of joy when our homeless friends receive these outfits, is a huge blessing.
'The Boutique' has also been a blessing to others in our community. We are now partnering with organizations that rescue men and women from human trafficking. We provide clothes from our boutiques to those recently rescued. Working with and helping these organizations has been an amazing expansion of our ministry to reach out and help even more people in need. We are happy and honored to work together with these organizations!
